Emissions Reduction Targets

Flexipharm Austrading Limited was committed to a reduction in baseline emissions between the years 2024 and 2025, this they achieved with a 29% reduction. Flexipharm Austrading Limited will endeavour to continue this with other initiatives in 2026. This however will be dependent on stock required to fulfil NHS contracts awarded for our current medicines, along with any new medicines we launch in 2026 and future years.

They had projected that their carbon emissions would decrease over the next five years to 10.5 tCO₂e by 2028. As can be seen Flexipharm Austrading Ltd have already hit that target and will continue to strive to reduce emissions further towards the 2028 goal with an additional reduction to 9.5 (tCO₂e)

The following environmental management measures and projects will be initiated throughout 2025 and into 2026 and will continue through the lifetime of the commitment to net zero, along with new initiatives when required:

Buy Green Certified Energy

Buy from committed net zero providers

More online meetings, leading to less business travel

Commitment to print less, therefore use less paper and print consumables

Use greener transport both up and down stream i.e. solar powered, biofuel

Increase monitoring of impact to environment, and act accordingly

Reduce number of shipments and the number of deliveries to main distributor

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard¹ and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting².

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard³.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
